WEEX Exclusive:Oracle and Adobe in Focus This Week |WEEX TradFi Daily (September 8, 2026)
Opening Summary
- August payrolls of about 162,000 and a 4.1% unemployment rate lifted September hike odds to roughly 58%–60%, with the 10-year yield near 4.78%.
- Bitcoin slipped back to around $79,100–$79,400, while spot bitcoin ETFs still recorded about $987 million of net inflows last week.
- The AI meme sector rose about 9.2% over 24 hours, led by B, AVA, and ACT, while Robinhood meme tokens diverged.
- This week’s focus is GME on September 8 ET, Oracle and Adobe on September 10, and PPI/CPI on September 10–11.
1、Crypto Highlights
1)Bitcoin Loses the $80,000 Handle; Spot ETFs Still Posted Weekly Inflows
Bitcoin pulled back from a September 3 high of about $81,300 and traded around $79,100–$79,400 on September 7, while Ethereum was near $2,490–$2,515. Last week, spot bitcoin ETFs took in about $987 million and Ethereum ETFs about $215 million, bringing three-week bitcoin ETF inflows to roughly $3.8 billion. Institutional buying offset seasonal selling pressure, but higher hike pricing blocked a breakout above the $80,500–$81,300 range.
Watchlist: BTC, ETH
Spot: BTC / ETH
Futures: BTC / ETH
2)AI Meme Sector Rallies; B, AVA, and ACT Lead
CoinGecko’s AI meme category rose about 9.2% in market capitalization over the past 24 hours, materially outperforming the major tokens. B, AVA, and ACT attracted fresh flows as NVIDIA’s Hugging Face acquisition further crowded the “model + meme” trade. The group remains highly elastic, and its durability will depend on whether turnover can keep pace with price strength.
Watchlist: B, AVA, ACT
Spot: B / AVA / ACT
Futures: B / AVA / ACT
3)Robinhood Meme Tokens Diverge; AIINU, MEME1, and WISHBONE Lead
Robinhood Chain-related meme tokens did not move as a uniform group. AIINU, MEME1, and WISHBONE led on active turnover, while weaker copycat names gave back gains. New-chain launches and listing expectations created isolated premiums, but the segment remains driven by high-turnover speculation and can reverse quickly.
Watchlist: AIINU, MEME1, WISHBONE
Spot: AIINU / MEME1 / WISHBONE
Futures: Pending verification
2、Market Highlights
1)Cash Equities Reopen; September Hike Odds Rise to About 60%
NYSE and Nasdaq resume regular trading at 9:30 a.m. ET on September 8. After the Labor Day closure, investors are repricing August payrolls of about 162,000 and a 4.1% unemployment rate. Futures showed the Dow down about 0.6%, the S&P 500 slightly lower, and Nasdaq-100 up about 0.3%, while CME Fed funds futures lifted the implied probability of a 25 bp hike at the September 15–16 meeting to roughly 60%. Some desks now expect two hikes before year-end.
The rate path is the first major theme after the reopen: firm jobs combined with elevated oil prices have strengthened the case for policy staying restrictive, limiting upside elasticity for long-duration technology. Markets now await PPI on September 10 ET and CPI on September 11 to determine whether hike pricing can ease.
Watchlist: SPY, QQQ, IWM, TLT
Spot: SPY / QQQ / IWM / TLT
Futures: SPY / QQQ / IWM
2)Crude Holds a Supply Premium; WTI Near $91, Brent Near $96
Oil remained elevated on shipping-lane and supply risk, with WTI near $91 and Brent around $96. Higher crude supports energy equities but also reinforces sticky inflation expectations, making restrictive-rate pricing harder to unwind.
Watchlist: CRUDEOIL
Spot: CRUDEOIL
Futures: BZ / CL
3)Gold Consolidates Between $4,400 and $4,500
Spot gold rebounded from about $4,365 to about $4,510 before slipping back toward the $4,420–$4,490 range. Stronger payrolls lifted real-rate expectations and capped safe-haven demand. A hotter-than-expected CPI print could pressure both gold and Treasuries.
Watchlist: GOLD, SILVER
Spot: GOLD / SILVER
Futures: GOLD / XAG
3、Today’s Preview
1)Cash U.S. Equities Reopen on September 8 ET
Investors will focus on retail and software earnings, and on how PPI and CPI on September 10–11 reshape pricing for the September FOMC meeting.
Watchlist: SPY, QQQ
Spot: SPY / QQQ
Futures: SPY / QQQ
2)GameStop (GME) — September 8 ET
Consensus expects earnings per share of about $0.19 and revenue of roughly $1.07 billion. Investors will focus on cash levels, buybacks, hardware demand, digital-business trends, and management guidance.
Watchlist: GME
Spot: GME
Futures: GME
