Avalanche (AVAX) developer Ava Labs has stated that the focus should be on real-world applications in sectors such as business, government, and sports, rather than on token prices, as a measure of industry growth. Ava Labs Chief Business Officer (CBO) John Nahas mentioned that the virtual asset industry is in its 'teenage years' and that there are many opportunities despite low token prices. He highlighted corporate payments, government adoption, and World Cup ticketing as key use cases for Avalanche. Avalanche emphasizes purpose-built networks and enterprise infrastructure over general-purpose blockchains. Hyundai Card has completed a pilot for overseas remittances using Avalanche and Tether (USDT), taking about seven minutes to send $20,000 to its Mexican subsidiary. The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) operates an electronic certification system that anchors 15 million academic records on the Avalanche C-Chain. FIFA announced that FIFA Collect has transitioned to a blockchain built on Avalanche technology. Nahas's comments underscore that the virtual asset industry cannot be simply explained by speculative price movements, and he added that further confirmation is needed on whether the use of corporate payments, public certification, and fan platforms will lead to demand within the Avalanche ecosystem.
