Ukraine to Receive 95,000 Drones and Ammunition After 'Ramstein' Meeting
Following the 36th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the 'Ramstein' format, new supplies for air defense and unmanned systems have been announced. The United Kingdom plans to deliver 95,000 drones to Ukraine by the end of the year. Ukrainian Defense Minister Yevhen Khorunzhyi and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapat presented a 'War Plan' to partners. Nine countries announced new supplies or funding: Germany - new interceptor missiles for Patriot and F-16 aircraft; the United Kingdom - £100 million for American weapons through PURL, 95,000 drones, and artillery shells; the Netherlands - $300 million for the 'Drone Line' project and 300 missiles; Estonia - military support in 2027 at a level of at least 0.25% of GDP; Norway - a $200 million package for the purchase of Patriot missiles; Spain - €2 million for fuel and missiles; Lithuania - $10 million for the PURL mechanism; Poland - a €50 million package, including air defense funds; Sweden - a $28 million package, half in PURL. At the 35th 'Ramstein' meeting, around $4 billion in new aid to Ukraine was announced.
