Dunamu Hosts Digital Innovation Idea Contest for Traditional Markets
Dunamu, in collaboration with the Seoul Regional Small and Medium Business Administration and the Small Business Market Promotion Corporation, is hosting the '2026 Digital Innovation Idea Contest for Traditional Markets.' This contest is the first implementation task of a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening support for traditional markets and small businesses in the Seoul area. The contest consists of two categories: △ Proposals for utilizing AI technology in traditional markets and △ Digital innovation solutions for traditional markets using blockchain. Participants must select one of the eight traditional markets in Seoul that have been designated for the 2026 Cultural Tourism Market Support Project and prepare a proposal. Eleven teams will be selected to advance to the finals through a preliminary document review, and the finalists in both categories will receive mentoring opportunities from Dunamu's blockchain experts. The awards ceremony will be held in November, with one team receiving the Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups Award, one team receiving the Seoul Regional Small and Medium Business Administration Director's Award, one team receiving the Small Business Market Promotion Corporation Chairman's Award, and one team receiving the Upbit (GIWA) Award. The total prize money amounts to 12.5 million KRW, and the finalists will also have the opportunity to enhance their projects for practical application in the market.
