Zama has listed its native token ZAMA for trading on Revolut across the European Economic Area, allowing access to over 70 million customers. This move aims to promote onchain privacy using fully homomorphic encryption, which keeps balances and transactions private on public chains. Existing Revolut users can buy and hold ZAMA without opening new accounts or completing additional identity checks, with trading fees starting at 0. Revolut also allows users to withdraw ZAMA to self-custody wallets. Zama's technology has progressed beyond research, now encompassing confidential lending, real-world asset tokenization, and institutional token operations. The company has partnered with Morpho and Steakhouse Financial to launch a confidential DeFi yield vault and acquired TokenOps for encrypted token distributions. ZAMA was launched in February after a sealed-bid Dutch auction that secured over 121 million dollars on Ethereum.
