Train Delays of Over 17 Hours for Ukrzaliznytsia Due to Russian Shelling

As a result of Russian shelling in several regions of Ukraine, delays in passenger trains are being observed. Movement continues where it is safe. According to the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia, passengers can track changes in the schedule through the mobile app, announcements at train stations, and information boards. In case of an air raid alert, passengers need to head to shelters. If boarding is ongoing, station staff will inform about the safe route. It is recommended to have a supply of drinking water and snacks. As of 14:05, the longest delays are for train No. 775/776 Sumy -- Kyiv-Pas. -- 17 hours 15 minutes, No. 93/94 Kharkiv-Pas. -- Chełm -- 11 hours 30 minutes, and No. 83/84 Dnipro-Glavny -- Mukachevo -- 6 hours 22 minutes. Delays are also reported for trains No. 7/8 Kharkiv-Pas. -- Odesa-Glavna by 7 hours 46 minutes, and No. 37/38 Zaporizhzhia-1 -- Kyiv-Pas. -- by 7 hours 15 minutes. For flights delayed by more than 5 hours, Ukrzaliznytsia, in cooperation with World Central Kitchen, is providing free hot meals at certain intermediate stations. The Kyiv ring electric train has resumed operations and is running on schedule.
