Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat, claimed that Ethereum (ETH) is undervalued compared to Bitcoin (BTC) and could reach $10,000 within the next 1 to 2 years. He noted that the movement of funds into Ethereum has been forming for nearly a decade, focusing on Ethereum's role as a payment layer and the relative value of ETH/BTC. Lee believes that the Ethereum network can absorb demand related to decentralized finance, tokenized assets, and artificial intelligence payments. He previously mentioned in June that Ethereum could reach $250,000 in the long term. Lee's remarks are related to Bitmain's financial strategy for Ethereum, as Bitmain initiated its Ethereum financial strategy with a $250 million private placement on July 2, 2025. He emphasized that Ethereum could establish itself as a foundational asset for corporate financial strategies. Additionally, while it was reported that Ethereum's 24-hour volatility increased by 32%, the actual figures were shown to be around 0% or close to 1%.
