BlockBeats News Update: On February 1st, Base Protocol officials revealed this morning that the Base mainnet experienced intermittent transaction packaging delays, causing users to experience significantly longer transaction confirmation times than usual. However, the officials emphasized that blocks are still being continuously produced, and transaction processing has not been interrupted.
The team has now confirmed that the remedial measures have taken effect, the overall network stability has been restored, and a full post-incident analysis (RCA) and public incident analysis report will be released in the next few days.
In the event of increased network congestion, transactions may still experience delayed packaging or be dropped. The team is working on a long-term solution and will provide ongoing updates.
