BlockBeats News, January 22nd, Crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett posted an article stating that an additional two weeks of negotiations aimed at securing official Democratic support did not produce results. The markup of the bill in the Senate Agriculture Committee next week is expected to take on a partisan tone, which is not a positive sign for the Senate Banking Committee, which had hoped to advance its own deliberations with bipartisan consensus.

Furthermore, the Senate Agriculture Committee has released the latest version of the cryptocurrency market structure bill text. Committee Chairman John Boozman stated that an agreement was not reached with the Democrats but still looks forward to next week's markup meeting. The meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday at 3 p.m. Eastern Time.
