Samsung Launches 5% Cashback Credit Card in the USA

Samsung Electronics has launched the Samsung Galaxy credit card in the USA in partnership with Barclays and Visa. The card offers 5% cashback on purchases of Samsung products. All transactions, including application and account management, are conducted through the Samsung Wallet app. Starting July 22, 2026, customers can apply online or in stores. Users who spend $2,000 in the first 90 days will receive $200 in bonuses. The launch of the card positions Samsung in competition with Apple Pay, which dominates the US market. 70% of American households own Samsung devices, and 30% own three or more products. The digital card aims to simplify the payment process for customers using mobile devices. Barclays is seeking ways to expand its collaboration by ramping up its card business in the USA.
