Robinhood co-founder Vlad Tenev stated in a podcast that the developers at Robinhood have built liquidity pools and protocols that exceed the company's expectations, combining meme coins, mainstream crypto assets, and stock tokens. Meme coins are used as an "entry point" or "reward mechanism" to connect users with real stock tokens. Tenev expressed that Robinhood aims to increase the percentage of U.S. households owning stocks from about 65% to over 95%, with tokenization being a key means to achieve this goal, allowing high-quality U.S. stocks and other RWAs to be more easily distributed to global users.
