River Receives $8 Million Strategic Investment from TRON DAO to Support Its Deep Integration into the TRON Ecosystem

BlockBeats News, January 22nd, according to an official announcement, River has announced receiving an $8 million strategic investment from the TRON DAO to support its deep integration into the TRON ecosystem and the deployment of chain-agnostic stablecoin infrastructure.

River will introduce cross-ecosystem assets and liquidity into TRON through the stablecoin satUSD. satUSD can be minted 1:1 against USDT, USDD, or USD1, or backed by multi-chain assets, helping users directly participate in TRON's native high-yield opportunities.


satUSD will be used alongside USDT and USDD in the SUN.io stablecoin pool, with price oracles provided by WinkLink, and will simultaneously launch on JustLend for lending support.


This integration will cover core assets such as USDT, TRX, wBTC, BTT, JST, SUN, WIN, and NFTs, with native sTRX staking rewards as the initial entry point. River also plans to launch a Smart Vault and an institutional-grade Prime Vault, providing a scalable yield solution for stablecoins and TRON core assets.
