OSL Group has partnered with payment platform Waka to integrate stablecoin-to-USD and USD payment capabilities into Waka's settlement system, serving trade corridors in Africa and globally. This collaboration introduces compliant USD liquidity to the Asia-Africa trade corridors that lack traditional banking services, expanding OSL's stablecoin payment ecosystem in emerging markets. Both parties are exploring further collaboration opportunities focused on the African market and cross-border settlements. Kevin Cui, Executive Director and CEO of OSL, stated that a robust payment infrastructure will improve daily life and business operations in the Asia-Africa trade corridor regions, and OSL plans to deepen its presence in Africa and broader markets in the future.
