OpenAI has appointed Dali Rajic as its new Chief Revenue Officer to strengthen its commercialization team. Rajic previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Wiz, a subsidiary of Alphabet, and takes over from former CRO Denise Dresser, who joined OpenAI in December last year. This personnel change comes as OpenAI accelerates its efforts to drive business growth, particularly in light of the expanding enterprise offerings of ChatGPT, API services, and AI infrastructure partnerships. Rajic was responsible for commercial operations, sales growth, and global expansion at Wiz, bringing extensive experience in enterprise sales and market development. Market analysts believe that OpenAI's decision to bring in an executive with a background in enterprise software commercialization indicates the company's shift towards becoming a large-scale commercial AI platform.
