Large Investors Barely Sell Bitcoin Due to Low Price

By: www.crypto-insiders.nl|2026/09/04 17:01:10

The price of Bitcoin is currently too low for large investors ('whales') to take profits. The Exchange Whale Ratio stands at 0.39, indicating that large investors are sending little Bitcoin to cryptocurrency exchanges. The current price is close to the average purchase price of these investors, resulting in limited profits to be realized. Large investors are slightly in the plus, but there is no extreme euphoria or mass profit-taking. The Spent Output Profit Ratio (SOPR) is at 1, meaning that investors are selling on average without significant gains or losses. The Net Realized Profit/Loss (NRPL) is positive but significantly lower than previous peaks, which also indicates limited profit-taking. The Net Unrealized Profit/Loss (NUPL) shows that investors are sitting on small profits, but the market is not yet in a phase of extreme optimism. Analyst PelinayPA states that there is currently no reason for concern and that the chart indicates consolidation, with room for further price increases.
