The official X account of quantitative trading giant Jane Street currently shows 0 tweets, sparking widespread speculation in the crypto community that it was "urgently deleted" in response to recent litigation pressures.
However, some trading insiders point out that the account has been extremely inactive since its creation in 2018, with almost no posting history (the Wayback Machine archive also shows it has been empty for a long time). The current "0 tweets" status may not be a sudden deletion, but rather a long-standing situation, amplified into a conspiracy theory by the litigation news.
