Iran's parliament is reviewing a draft bill aimed at strengthening control over transit rules in the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf. The main proposals of the bill include prohibiting the passage of vessels associated with the United States, Israel, and other hostile countries, restricting the transport of military and civilian goods related to Israel, limiting the movement of ships involved in actions against the "axis of resistance," denying access to entities that are supposed to pay compensation to Iran, and imposing fines of up to 20% of the value of goods for violations. The proposal is still under review and has not yet been approved.
