Drone Attack on US Facility in Saudi Arabia

By: rootdata|2026/07/24 13:05:02

A logistics depot belonging to the US military was targeted by a drone in Saudi Arabia. Following the attack, explosion sounds were heard in the area. Initial statements did not provide information about the location of the facility, the characteristics of the drone used in the attack, or the party that carried out the operation. The extent of the damage to the depot and whether there were any casualties were also not disclosed. During a period of escalating conflicts between the US and Iran, US-linked military sites in the Middle East have become targets of various attacks. Drones carrying explosives were also directed at areas where US soldiers are located in Erbil, Iraq. Colonel Tajik, an official of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, stated that the recent operation was conducted to neutralize strategic targets. Yemeni negotiator Al Salmi argued that the stance of Yemeni forces towards Saudi Arabia is limited to a maritime blockade. Al Salmi indicated that this practice would continue until the blockade against Yemen is lifted. The ongoing attacks on US-linked facilities in the Middle East have raised concerns that the conflicts could spread to a wider area. The market is monitoring the potential impacts of these developments on international oil prices and cryptocurrencies.
