DeepSeek is currently undergoing a new round of financing, with a pre-funding valuation of approximately $71 billion. The market has seen multiple layers of special purpose vehicles (SPVs) offering equity exposure to DeepSeek, with some lower-tier SPVs charging pre-investment fees exceeding 15%, and performance sharing reaching as high as 40%. Additionally, DeepSeek's annual recurring revenue (ARR) for last month has reached approximately $500 million, and AI infrastructure spending has totaled $1.6 billion so far this year, nearing ten times the full-year level expected for 2025.
