BlackRock BUIDL Maintains $2.6 Billion in Assets
BlackRock's tokenized treasury product BUIDL has recorded a total asset value of $2,611,672,920, establishing itself as a representative example of institutional on-chain cash products. As of August 25, 2026, the annualized yield (APY) over seven days is 3.43%, with 106 holders. According to DeFiLlama, BUIDL's market capitalization is $2.64 billion, with a price set at $1. BUIDL is an institutional fund that tokenizes U.S. Treasury assets as part of the BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund. The fund was established on March 20, 2024, and is available for investment by U.S. qualified purchasers. On August 3, BlackRock announced the launch of its tokenized money market products, BSTBL and BRSRV. These products invest in cash and short-term U.S. Treasury securities, and BUIDL has become tradable through UniswapX technology. With market expansion confirmed, the size of tokenized real asset deposits is expected to increase from $2.3 billion in Q2 2025 to $7.4 billion in Q2 2026. However, it is difficult to definitively categorize BUIDL as the fixed number one product, as results may vary depending on the reference time and formulas of each public dashboard.
