Bitcoin Must Drop 83% to $13,136 to Reach STRC 1x BTC Rating
Strategy indicates that the price of Bitcoin needs to drop 83% from its current level to $13,136 for STRC to achieve a 1x BTC Rating. This metric signifies that the reserve value of Bitcoin equals the nominal debt and preferred stock claims accounted for in the security, rather than an external credit rating. The model shows that the corresponding Bitcoin price thresholds for STRF, STRC, STRE, STRK, and STRD are $1,519, $13,136, $14,198, $15,857, and $17,517, respectively, with the debt threshold in this model being zero. The BTC Rating does not imply that STRC will default, stop paying dividends, or trade at a specific price. As of August 30, Strategy held 845,050 Bitcoins and $6.71 billion in assets. On August 31, the company disclosed a buyback of $152 million in STRC and allocated $30 million to cash in USD, increasing that balance to $1.61 billion; its latest Bitcoin transaction added 4,603 Bitcoins, amounting to approximately $369.7 million, with an average price of $80,318.
