Bitcoin ETF inflows drop 76% as only BlackRock, Fidelity attract new money
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded net inflows of 174.6 million dollars on September 4, 2026. Only BlackRock and Fidelity saw positive net flows, with total inflows down 76.1% from 730.8 million dollars on September 3. Positive flows decreased from seven of the 12 tracked funds to two, following a surge in Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in the previous session. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) had net inflows of 117.4 million dollars, while Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) saw inflows of 57.2 million dollars. The other ten funds recorded zero net flows, indicating a slowdown in new money entering the market rather than withdrawals. The next trading session is scheduled for September 8, as both Nasdaq and NYSE are closed for Labor Day on September 7. Friday's figures will remain the latest until the holiday break ends.
