BioBook Begins Consulting for Discovering Bio Startups with GC Green Cross

BioBook will be responsible for discovering bio startups and connecting them with investment and business collaboration in GC Green Cross's open innovation project. On the 24th, BioBook was selected as the executing company for the '2026 Chungbuk-GC Green Cross Bio Open Innovation Project,' organized by Chungcheongbuk-do and the Osong Medical Innovation Foundation (KBIOHealth). This project aims to uncover external innovative technologies by GC Green Cross and connect them with new business collaborations. Large and medium-sized pharmaceutical companies will utilize the technologies of startups to find new growth engines, while startups will leverage the research and development capabilities of large corporations. The target recruitment is in the field of bio technologies related to GC Green Cross's new drug development needs, including antibody-based therapeutics, mRNA-based therapeutics, and AI-based new drug development technologies. The selection process will be conducted in two stages, with a maximum of four companies being selected. GC Green Cross will provide technical consulting and technical verification support to the selected companies, with the cost of technical verification being up to 14 million KRW per company. BioBook will support the technical review of participating startups and the preparation of investment proposals, and will offer an in-depth accelerating program to companies that pass the first evaluation. Startups can apply until September 9.
