According to Globenewswire, Nasdaq-listed TON treasury company AlphaTON Capital announced that it has reached a final agreement to acquire a 60% stake in the gaming platform GAMEE for a transaction price of up to $11 million, which includes an additional payment linked to performance over a two-year period.
GAMEE is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Animoca Brands, and its valuation in this transaction reaches $18 million. According to the terms of the acquisition agreement, AlphaTON Capital will take over the daily operational management of GAMEE and formally establish a strategic alliance with Animoca Brands, while prohibiting Animoca Brands from acquiring a controlling stake in AlphaTON Capital for two years.
